Association International School (AIS) is a unique Day and Boarding IB World School, offering a Pre-K to 12th Grade program.  AIS serves both local and expatriate communities in Ghana. Located 5 minutes from the Kotoka International Airport (Accra-Ghana), AIS provides a serene atmosphere for students, encouraging intellectual exploration, individual growth, social responsibility, and Christ-likeness. We do this by inspiring and supporting our students to strive for academic and personal excellence. 

Our boarding program, available for students aged 8 years and above, provides a home away from home experience. It provides students with diverse cultural exposure, opportunities for global networking, and a foundation for holistic development. Through our nurturing environment, students are empowered to become independent learners, build strong character, and grow to become responsible global citizens.

Extracurricular activities play a vital role in our student’s development and are especially crucial for our students in our boarding school setting. These activities provide a balanced and fulfilling routine, allowing students to engage in areas beyond academics. Participation in sports, arts, music, clubs, and community service initiatives fosters well-rounded personal growth. These activities help our children discover their passion, develop new skills, and build confidence outside the classroom.

Our language immersion programs and partnerships with schools in neighboring countries and Europe are designed to foster fluency through daily, natural exposure to different languages. This approach allows our students to develop their speaking and listening skills more effectively. The language immersion program also encourages cultural awareness and global citizenship. Students are not just learning a language; they are also being exposed to different cultures' customs, traditions, and values. This broader perspective fosters empathy and understanding, making our students more open-minded and prepared for an interconnected world.

Our diverse learning community represents over 30 nationalities from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America, and South America. With a student-teacher ratio of 8:1 and an average class size of 25, parents can be confident that their children receive personalized attention and exceptional care.

Graduating with an internationally recognized IB Diploma in 12th Grade, our students receive multiple offers from world-class institutions, including the University of Pennsylvania, Cornell University, MIT, Johns Hopkins University, NYU, Emory University, the University of Chicago, the University of Toronto, the University of British Columbia, the University of Manchester, and the University of Liverpool, among others.
